GLOW is a community where girls and women connect, grow, lead, and experience what’s possible through leadership, wellness, sports, network, exposure, and meaningful relationships.

GLOW was created from a simple belief: access can change the direction of a life.
Too often, girls and women are expected to navigate important stages of life without access to the right resources, relationships, experiences, or opportunities. GLOW exists to help change that.
What began as a vision to create supportive spaces for girls and women has grown into a community centered on access, exposure, development, and connection.
Through leadership development, mentorship, wellness, entrepreneurship, sports, travel and exposure experiences, educational opportunities, and community partnerships, GLOW creates pathways for girls and women to discover new possibilities and build stronger futures.
Today, GLOW serves girls and women through two distinct experiences: GLOW Legacy, our nonprofit youth-development program investing in high school girls, and our women’s membership community, designed to create connection, wellness, experiences, sports, networking, and opportunities for adult women.
We don’t simply tell girls and women what is possible. We create opportunities for them to see it, experience it, and pursue it.

MEET OUR FOUNDER
TYRA BROWN
GLOW began with a vision rooted in lived experience.
Growing up in West Philadelphia, founder Tyra Brown understood what it meant to have limited access to certain resources, experiences, relationships, and opportunities. She knew there was a bigger world beyond what she could see, but she did not always have access to the people, places, or information that could help her navigate it.
As she grew into a woman and mother, those experiences stayed with her. She began to recognize how different a young woman’s path can look when someone exposes her to new possibilities, connects her to the right resources, believes in her potential, and gives her opportunities to experience more.
That understanding became the foundation for GLOW.
Tyra created GLOW to help girls and women gain access to what she once needed herself: support, exposure, resources, meaningful relationships, mentorship, experiences, and opportunities to grow.
Today, she is building GLOW into a community where girls and women don’t simply hear that more is possible, they have opportunities to see it, experience it, and pursue it.
